SOUTHLAKE -- Waskom had four players rush for more than 100 yards in a 53-37 win over Rosebud-Lott in their Class 2A Division II Region III area-round playoff Saturday at Dragon Stadium.

Kevin Johnson rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns, Junebug Johnson added 101 yards and three scores, Trace Carter had 110 yards and a touchdown and Dillon Benton had a team-high 117 yards as Waskom (12-0) advanced to a regional-semifinal matchup with Crawford (12-0) -- set for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Waxahachie's Lumpkins Stadium.

Waskom raced out to a 21-0 lead and took a 36-13 advantage into halftime.

Kevin Johnson's 9-yard scoring run capped Waskom's opening drive, Junebug Johnson's 4-yard score increased the lead midway through the first and Carter's 1-yard plunge pushed the lead to three scores early in the second quarter.

Kyle Parker got Rosebud-Lott (9-3) on the board with a 2-yard touchdown run, but Junebug Johnson's 16-yard scoring run and Mike Reason's fumble recovery in the end zone extended Waskom's lead to 36-7 before Artis Johnson connected with Juwon Roberson for a Rosebud-Lott touchdown as time expired in the half.

Waskom and Rosebud-Lott alternated the next four touchdowns and Manny Munoz's 30-yard field goal extended Waskom's lead to 53-29 before Rosebud-Lott scored one more time on a 60-yard passing play from Johnson to Parker with 7:40 remaining.

The Wildcats outgained Rosebud-Lott for the game, 441-336.
