Multiple schools have extended Reggie Long junior day invitations and he's headed to one of them this weekend.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker visited Tulsa during its junior day a couple of weeks back, and he told ETSN.fm on Thursday that he plans to go to Texas State this weekend for a junior day event.

The Texas State event lands on the same weekend as the Washington State junior day he's been invited to. The distance to the WSU campus is only part of the reason Long's headed to San Marcos this weekend.

"Texas State is very interested in me so I chose to go to the school who's talking about an offer," he said.

Long was also invited to a Miami junior day, but couldn't make it. Long also said he has an invitation to North Texas junior day next weekend (Feb. 23). Houston and Abilene Christian have also invited him, but haven't set dates, per Rivals.com.

Long has also been invited to the March 17 Rivals/UnderArmour Combine in Cedar Hill. Longview junior defensive tackle Zaycoven Henderson and Whitehouse sophomore safety/receiver Justin Dunning have also been invited.

Long had a solid junior season with 80 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 12 pass breakups from Whitehouse's middle linebacker spot. He said most schools are recruiting him as an outside linebacker.
