Gary Wiley decided to make it official.

Wiley, a 2018 linebacker from Pine Tree, posted on Twitter late Sunday that he would commit to Missouri State.

Wiley finished the 2017 season as the Pirates' leading tackler with 100 tackles. He also has 23 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. Pine Tree finished 3-8, falling in the first round of the playoffs to North Forney.

He also held offers from Incarnate Word and Alcorn State.

Missouri State finished the season with a 3-8 record. The Bears compete in the Missouri Valley Conference of the NCAA's Division I FCS subdivision.

Wiley can make the commitment official by signing with the Bears beginning Feb. 7.
