The Gilmer Buckeyes rallied from an 18-point deficit with 28 unanswered points in the second half to win the Class 4A Division II state championship on Friday afternoon.

Gilmer lost a friend, teammate and brother earlier in 2014, but the Buckeyes carried him along this season, all the way to a state championship.
