LINDALE -- Striking with ruthless efficiency, the Lufkin Panthers steamrolled the Lindale Eagles, 63-28, Friday night at Eagle Stadium in a District 16-5A contest.

TYLER -- The Lady Lions got a three-set win against Lufkin on Friday to move to 5-3 in District 16-5A.
John Tyler won the match, 25-7, 25-17, 25-19.
Donisha Rouege and Chenique Baxter each had six kills and eight digs as team-bests in the match for the winning side
TYLER -- John Tyler's first three scoring drives stalled, resulting in field goals. The Lions' final possession did as well, but the satisfaction level after the final kick was considerably higher than the previous three.
