KILGORE -- No. 23 Spring Hill outlasted Kilgore on Tuesday in a 64-58 Panther victory.

Kendon Womack led Spring Hill (10-5) with 16 points. Kilgore's Trey Conrod had 21 points and five assists.

Spring Hill hosts Gladewater in Friday's District 16-3A game. Kilgore visits Bullard in a 16-3A contest.

Sky Holmes Guides Pine Tree to 36-27 Win Over 3A No. 22 Pittsburg

LONGVIEW -- Sophomore standout Sky Holmes scored 19 points to lead Pine Tree to a 36-27 win against Class 3A No. 22 Pittsburg on Tuesday at the Pirate Center.

Holmes also led the Lady Pirates (10-5) with 10 rebounds. Teammate McKaylla Baylor had eight rebounds.

No. 1 Martin's Mill Routs Beckville, 81-25

MARTIN'S MILL -- Sophomore Cheyenne Brown poured in 33 points to lead Class A Division I's No. 1-ranked Martin's Mill Lady Mustangs to an 81-25 win over Beckville.

Meagan Weatherford added 19 points for Martin's Mill (16-2, 2-0), while Haily Jenkins and Taylor Munns scored nine apiece.

Ivy Rieke led Beckville (8-8, 0-3) with 11 points and five rebounds. Devin Woodall had six points and three assists.

Martin's Mill visits Carlisle on Friday, while Beckville is off. The Ladycats' next game is noon Dec. 27 vs. Arp in the Overton tournament.

Longview Edges John Tyler, 65-60

LONGVIEW -- Tyus Bowser scored 19 points to lead John Tyler, but the Lions fells 65-60 to Longview on Monday at Lobo Coliseum.

The Lions played with some of their football players for the first time since JT's football season ended Friday in the Class 4A Division I state semifinal round.

Longview opens District 12-5A play Friday at Mesquite Horn. John Tyler visits Lewisville on Thursday.

Four Wildcats in Double Figures as Big Sandy Beats Yantis

YANTIS -- Four Big Sandy players scored at least 11 points to power the Wildcats to a 62-42 victory at Yantis on Monday.

Joshua Jackson led Big Sandy (11-2) with 17 points, followed by Taurus Keppard with 14. Isaiah Johnson scored 13 points. Jacob Owens had 11.

Big Sandy opens District 17-A Division I play on Friday at home against Overton.
