ENNIS -- Bryson Smith threw three touchdowns and ran for another to keep John Tyler undefeated in 2016 after Friday night's 30-14 win over Ennis.

Smith's passing touchdowns were highlighted by a 93-yard score to star receiver and Texas commit Damion Miller, whose jaunt to the end zone put the game out of reach.

Smith also threw two touchdown passes to Ke'Andre Street of 17 and 25 yards.

John Tyler (2-0) was held out of the end zone for almost the entire first half until Smith scored on a 23-yard touchdown run to give the Lions a 10-6 lead with 28 seconds left in the first half.

Smith finished the game 17-of-32 passing for 259 yards and an interception, and also surpassed the century mark rushing with 107 yards on 15 carries. Justin Samples anchored the running game with 22 attempts for 131 yards.

Street finished with six catches for 96 yards, along with his two touchdowns.

Tycen Thompson rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries to carry Ennis.
