CARROLLTON -- In a win or go home game, Will Weathers and Bullard Brook Hill came out firing and secured a playoff berth.

The defending TAPPS Division III state champs used six total touchdowns from Weathers to beat Carrollton Prince of Peace, 66-44, and captured the fourth and final playoff spot in TAPPS Division II District 2.

Weathers threw for 131 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 159 yards and three scores in a game that saw more than 1,000 total yards of offense.

Weathers rushed for touchdowns of 6 and 30 yards and connected with Austin Hollarand for a 28-yard touchdown to help Brook Hill outscore Prince of Peace 20-0 in the final quarter to pull out the win.

Prince of Peace quarterback Pat Hoerr hit Pal Bajwa for a 29-yard touchdown with 42 seconds left in the third quarter to cut the Guard's lead to 46-44 going into the final period.

Grant Hanks shared time at quarterback with Weathers and threw two touchdowns himself, while T.J. Dunks rushed nine times for 127 yards and two scores for The Guard, who finished their first season in TAPPS Division II 6-4 overall and 4-3 in district.
