WILLS POINT -- Brazos Hesskew's 36-yard touchdown pass to Zach Brown with 1:02 remaining sent the Canton Eagles to their second consecutive win, 28-27, over Wills Point on Friday night.

Canton (2-3) rallied from a 19-0 halftime deficit, scoring 21 fourth-quarter points.

It began with Adolpho Rivera's blocked punt and 25-yard return for a touchdown. The Eagles' special teams delivered again later in the fourth when Logan Nace returned a punt 98 yards for a touchdown, giving Canton a 21-19 lead with 3:20 remaining.

Wills Point (2-3) answered with a go-ahead score, preceding Canton's late-game heroics.

Canton is off next week before beginning District 5-4A Division II play on Oct. 9 at Nevada Community.
