Tevailance Hunt has been committed to Kansas since April, but new offers continue to trickle through.

Colorado State offered the senior Texas High receiver Tuesday and became the 15th NCAA Division I FBS program to enter the mix. The scholarship opportunity is Hunt's first from the Mountain West Conference.

Hunt (6-2, 180) is currently slated to join former Texas High teammate Quan Hampton in Lawrence, Kansas. The two players led their high school squad in receiving yardage last year en route to a perfect regular season and an upset first-round loss in the Class 5A Division I state playoffs.

Hampton had the edge while Hunt caught 36 passes for 701 yards and 10 scores.

At the time the 2016 season began, Texas High had colleges interested in Hampton and quarterback Cade Pearson. Pearson enrolled at North Texas after the season to participate in spring football with the Mean Green.

Texas High has three identified FBS college prospects ahead of the 2017 season. First-year starting quarterback Coltin Clack, a junior, and senior defensive end Leonard Parks join Hunt on the list.

Colorado State posted a 7-5 regular season under second-year coach Mike Bobo and closed the year with a loss to Idaho in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Bobo has an overall record of 14-12 with the program.

The offensive side of the operation is Bobo's specialty. He spent 14 seasons as Georgia's quarterbacks coach and also served as that school's offensive coordinator his final eight years.

Matthew Stafford and Aaron Murray were Bobo's most successful pupils under center. Seven Georgia receivers, including A.J. Green, were on NFL rosters last season.

There are no East Texans and only one Texan on Colorado State's 2017 roster.

With Hunt, the school now has three local senior targets. Uncommitted Tyler Lee quarterback Chance Amie is on the Rams' board as is Kilgore receiver and Oklahoma State commitment Jonathan Shepherd.

Hunt will become eligible to sign with any Division I program that offers him in December.
