WHITEHOUSE -- The second-ranked Van Lady Vandals recorded a 25-17, 25-20, 17-25, 25-23 win over Whitehouse in Van's final tuneup before district.

Hallee Carter had 16 kills, one block and 16 digs, while Bri Thompson added 10 kills, four blocks, 25 digs and three aces for Van (23-6). Ashlin Lovett provided 28 digs and Morgan Wilkerson dished out 41 assists to go with 17 digs.

Van opens 15-3A play Tuesday at Mabank.

Lindale Sweeps Past Texas High

LINDALE -- The Lindale Lady Eagles had no trouble Friday in sweeping Texas High, 25-16, 25-21, 25-19.

Zhanelle Geathers led Lindale (25-3) with 12 kills, two blocks and two aces. Makenna Allen added eight kills and five digs, Travicia Acy had six kills and two blocks, Rhyan Rand finished with five kills and two digs and Sydney Tiiman provided 29 assists, two kills, four digs and two aces.

Lindale plays at Paris North Lamar on Tuesday.

Gilmer Outlasts Bullard in 16-3A Action

BULLARD -- The Gilmer Lady Buckeyes scored a wild 27-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-25, 15-13 win over Bullard on Friday in District 16-3A competition.

Ashley Searcy led Bullard (17-10, 1-2) in defeat with a career-high 17 kills and seven blocks. Mackenzie Fish added 12 kills, 20 digs and six aces, Madi Hodges had 29 digs, while Rachel Kelley and Mallory McCoy teamed for 29 assists, eight digs and four aces.

Bullard's season continues Tuesday at home against Chapel Hill.

Carthage Opens 20-3A With Sweep of Diboll

DIBOLL -- The Carthage Lady Dogs began District 20-3A with a 25-11, 25-7, 25-6 sweep of Diboll on Friday.

Tennessee commit Iesha Bryant led the way with 12 kills and three blocks. Marisah Ingram and Kamry Smith combined for 12 kills, Morgan Wedgeworth added 12 digs and Kenzie Tate dished out 23 assists.

Carthage (23-7, 1-0) continues its season Tuesday at home against Huntington.

Eustace Sweeps Malakoff in 13-2A Action

EUSTACE -- The Eustace Lady Bulldogs earned a 25-20, 25-23, 25-15 sweep of Malakoff in District 13-2A action Friday.

Peyton Dibari led the way with five kills, while Caitlyn Culp added four.

Eustace's season resumes Tuesday at home against Dallas Life Oak Cliff.

Sabine Stays Perfect in 18-2A

HAWKINS -- The Sabine Lady Cardinals improved to 3-0 in District 18-2A with a 25-11, 25-13, 25-18 sweep of Hawkins on Friday.

Haley Stuart led Sabine (21-6) with 15 kills, three blocks and three digs. Brittany Terry added six kills, one block and one dig, Shelby Burns contributed five kills and two digs, Tylia Sylestine had four kills and 16 digs and the duo of Emily Ivins and Jayden Mount combined for 29 assists, 11 digs and eight aces.

Sabine hosts Troup on Tuesday.

Troup Sweeps Rival Arp

TROUP -- The Troup Lady Tigers took care of District 18-2A rival Arp, 25-8, 25-15, 25-22, on Friday.

Cheney Cover led the way with 12 kills, five blocks, 21 digs and two aces. Josee Ross added 13 kills, two blocks, 10 digs and two aces, Paeton Nolan had seven kills, three blocks and 10 digs, Bethany Mason had 17 digs and 18 serve-receptions and Carly Dyess racked up 24 assists, three kills and 13 digs.

Troup plays at Sabine on Tuesday.

Beckville Rolls Past Leverett's Chapel

LAIRD HILL -- Beckville cruised to a 25-12, 25-7, 25-4 sweep of Leverett's Chapel in District 20-A action Friday.

Ivy Rieke led Beckville (17-4, 3-0) with 10 kills and 10 digs. Taylor Lindsay added seven kills, six digs and four aces, Carson Blair had four kills, 10 digs and six aces, Carley Lawhorn provided four kills and a block and Kassidy Alexander finished with 18 assists, five digs and four aces.

Beckville hosts Overton on Tuesday.

Gary Has Little Trouble With Overton

OVERTON -- Gary breezed past Overton, 25-20, 25-17, 25-12, Friday in District 20-A action.

Collyn Pinkerton led Gary (16-8, 3-0) with 16 kills, 9.5 blocks, four digs and two aces. Ryley Beckham added eight kills and 21 digs, Josey Greer added 28 assists, five kills and seven digs, Railey Daniels had 19 digs and three assists and Melody McCroskey had 14 digs and was 19-of-19 on serves.

Gary hosts Carlisle on Tuesday.
