Through a couple weeks of the regular season, two of the most impressive teams in East Texas have been Henderson and Pittsburg.

And on Friday, they hook up in the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Game of the Week.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Pirate Stadium in Pittsburg.

Henderson (2-0) has blown out both Atlanta (44-13) and Tatum (45-13) so far this season, while Pittsburg (2-0) is coming off a dominant performance in a 51-26 victory over Class 5A Pine Tree.

The Lions are led by senior WR/DB Trestan Ebner, who has accounted for seven touchdowns already this year -- four receiving, one rushing, one on an interception return, and the other on a punt return.

The TCU commit has 10 receptions for 201 yards and four scores so far.

Pittsburg senior RB/DB Deldric "Red" Shields has been the Pirates' primary catalyst in 2016.

Shields has rushed for a team-best 357 yards and five touchdowns on 44 carries, while making four receptions for 66 yards and two scores as well.
