One of the state's most sought-after offensive lineman in the 2014 class continues to hear from more and more colleges.

Jasper center Terrell Cuney spoke on the phone with TCU on Wednesday afternoon and has recently received new interest from several schools, including Oregon, Texas Tech, Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pounder said he plans to attend Texas' Feb. 23 junior day and will attend an event at Texas A&M this weekend.

Cuney said via text message that TCU is "really interested in me and hoping to get me to a junior day and on campus soon." He added that cornerbacks coach Clay Jenning was the TCU coach who made contact with him.

Cuney is one of several East Texan offensive linemen in the 2014 class who could potentially sign with Division I schools next February, joining Nacogdoches' Jacob Bragg (6-3, 300), Daingerfield's Willie Evans (6-4, 340), Carthage's Adrian Goodacre (6-4, 310), John Tyler's Travaughn Moore (6-3, 260), and Carthage's Griffin Bankhead (6-3, 290).
