HENDERSON -- The sibling duo of senior Mike Mitchell and sophomore Mickey Mitchell was too much for Henderson on Friday.

The Plano Prestonwood Christian Academy pair dominated on each side of the ball, with the quarterbacking Mickey accounting for 337 total yards and four touchdowns and linebacking Mike collecting four tackles for loss and a forced fumble in Prestonwood's dominant 56-21 victory at Lion Stadium.

Prestonwood (1-0), which controlled both lines of scrimmage, scored on a 17-play, 86-yard drive to start the game, then recovered a slow-rolling onside kick. PCA cashed in another touchdown for a 14-0 lead with a 25-0 advantage in plays, and the private school power had its way from there.

Prestonwood amassed 558 yards, including 394 rushing, to Henderson's 319 yards. Mickey Mitchell, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound left-hander, completed 16 of 26 passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Florida State-committed tight end Christian Morgan, who had six catches for 49 yards. Mickey Mitchell also ran 23 times for 173 yards and a touchdown, a nine-yarder in the second quarter that helped PCA build a 36-7 halftime lead.

Prestonwood running back Grayson Warren ran for 196 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries, and Raleigh Beougher caught four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. Mike Mitchell, a 6-foot-4, 222-pound middle linebacker with almost two dozen college offers, led a Prestonwood defense that held Henderson to 99 first-half yards. Corey Meador and Hayden Clark each had a second-half interception as PCA won the turnover battle 4-1.

Henderson's Diamante Wright ran 17 times for 58 yards, and starting quarterback Jansen Moore completed 9 of 14 passes for 169 yards and an interception. Sophomore backup QB Zane Boles, a 6-5, 198-pounder, was 2-for-4 for 51 yards and an interception.

Prestonwood never kicked deep, so Henderson athlete Patrick "Monster" Brown never had a chance in the return game. Brown returned seven kicks (six punts, one kickoff) for touchdowns in 2011. Brown had four carries for 18 yards and three catches for 32 yards. He also completed a 22-yard pass to Moore.

Henderson's Arqez Walton caught three passes for 76 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown pass on a first-quarter screen play. Henderson wideout Jamie Anthony had a game-high 96 yards on three receptions. Henderson defensive back J'Korrie Centers had a diving second-half interception to account for Prestonwood's lone turnover.

Prestonwood freshman receiver Michael Irvin, the son of the Pro Football Hall of Famer of the same name, caught three passes for 32 yards.

Neither team punted. Henderson was never closer than 14-7 in the first quarter. An early third-quarter touchdown brought Henderson within 36-14, but Prestonwood answer with two to boost its lead to 50-14.

Prestonwood hosts another East Texas team next week as Gilmer visits. Henderson travels to Nacogdoches.
