BULLARD -- Nick McKee ran for 212 yards and three touchdowns and Spring Hill scored two defensive touchdowns to beat Bullard Brook Hill, 35-14, on Friday night at Herrington Field to close nondistrict play before starting the District of Doom.

Michael Spurrier returned an interception for a touchdown and took a punt back for a score for Spring Hill (2-2).

The Spring Hill defense was dominant against the run, holding the Guard (1-2) to just 10 yards on 22 attempts.

Grant Hanks was the primary source of offense for Brook Hill, completing 19 of 32 passes for 237 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. One touchdown went to Alex Hale and the other to Chase McDermott. Seth Brasher led the Guard in receiving with nine catches for 115 yards.

Spring Hill led just 7-6 at halftime but erupted for 28 points in the second half. After scoring on a 2-yard touchdown run to give the Panthers the first-half lead, McKee added scoring runs of 72 and 1 yards.
