HAWKINS -- Frankston quarterback Ozzie Buckner accounted for 432 yards and seven touchdowns to ignite the Indians' 54-27 victory over Hawkins on Friday night.

Buckner rushed 20 times for 241 yards and four touchdowns and completed 14 of 20 passing attempts for 191 yards and three more scores.

Frankston (2-5, 2-1 in District 10-2A Division II), which rolled up 625 yards of total offense, also got strong performances from running backs Oran Jenkins and Daniel Grisham and receiver Kendrick Rogers.

Jenkins rushed for 88 yards on eight carries and had two catches -- both for touchdowns -- for 37 yards. Grisham had 10 carries for 69 yards and Rogers pulled down a team-high six receptions for 74 yards.

Cory Winks and Charles Minchew spearheaded a solid defensive effort against Hawkins (5-3, 1-3). Winks had three interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, and made five tackles with four pass break-ups, one fumble recovery and a blocked kick. Minchew recorded nine tackles (five for loss) and two and-a-half sacks.
