VAN -- Patrick Spera threw three first-half touchdowns and Sunnyvale eliminated White Oak from the Class 3A Division I playoffs, 32-15, on Friday night in the regional round.

Spera, who also ran for a touchdown in the win, connected with three different receivers for touchdowns to helped send Sunnyvale to the state quarterfinals. The Raiders will face the winner between Mineola and Callisburg, which face off on Saturday.

All of Spera's first-half touchdowns were of at least 32 yards, and the Raiders took a 20-7 lead into halftime. He hit Lawson Ayo, Chima Enyinna and Cash Goodhart for scores before opening the second half with a 28-yard run to put Sunnyvale up 26-7.

Dax Davis returned a punt 87 yards to get White Oak within 26-15 with 2:02 left in the third quarter, but the Roughnecks would not get closer the rest of the game.

Cade Palmer connected with Brandon Cook for White Oak's other score with 6:02 in the second quarter to make the score 13-7.

Cook caught seven passes for 108 yards for White Oak, which ended its season at 10-3 and a week after upsetting No. 7 Pottsboro.

Connor Hearron led White Oak on the ground with 19 carries for 75 yards.
