Tatum Steps on White Oak in District Opener, 56-28

TATUM -- The Tatum Eagles battled White Oak in the first half, then took care of business in the second half for a 56-28 win in the District 8-3A Division I opener for both teams Friday night.

Tatum (2-2, 1-0) and White Oak (2-3, 0-1) went into halftime separated by one score with the Eagles holding a 28-21 lead, but the second half was a different story.

Tatum outscored White Oak, 28-7, in the second half to pull away.

Each team's schedule resumes next Friday night. Tatum is on the road at Sabine, while White Oak plays at Winnsboro.
