PLANO -- Twayne Blackwell passed for two touchdowns and rushed for three more to lead Plano Prestonwood to a 45-21 win over Henderson on Friday in Phil Castles' first game as Henderson head coach.

Castles, who spent the previous four seasons as Corsicana's head coach, took over for Dickey Meeks, who left for Pittsburg in the offseason.

Blackwell completed 18-of-26 passes for 238 yards and rushed for 78 yards on 12 attempts. Ryan Bradberry led Prestonwood (1-0) on the ground with 159 yards on 21 carries. Michael Irvin Jr., the son of the Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys receiver, had eight catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Randy Davis led Henderson (0-1) by rushing for 128 yards and all three Lions touchdowns. Zane Boles was 9-of-16 for 130 yards, while Tre' Hollins caught seven passes for 99 yards in the losing effort.

Prestonwood travels to Gilmer on Friday night, while Henderson plays host to Nacogdoches the same night.
