The Grace Cougars nailed down the third playoff seed from TAPPS Division II District 2 with an emphatic 63-13 win over the Brook Hill Guard on Friday at Clyde-Perkins Stadium.

TYLER -- Tyler Bishop Gorman’s chance to claim the third playoff seed in TAPPS Division II District 2 was denied by Tyler Grace on Friday night, as the Cougars came away with a 45-39 win in Gorman’s final regular season game.

TYLER -- Braydon Stone accounted for three touchdowns and Tyler Grace Community notched its first TAPPS Division II District 2 win of 2017 with a 49-21 rout of Carrollton Prince of Peace on Friday.

IRVING -- Tyler Grace Community traveled to Irving on Friday and handed the Cistercian Prep Hawks their second loss of the season, winning a 56-55 shootout.

MESQUITE -- Garrett Gilcrease scored three touchdowns and Dallas Christian jumped on Tyler Grace early en route to a 35-17 win on Friday night in the teams' TAPPS Division II District 2 opener.

TYLER -- Judd Miller accounted for six total touchdowns and Malakoff outlasted Tyler Grace Community, 49-47, on Friday night in Tigers coach Jamie Driskell's 100th game at the helm.

WASKOM -- T.K. Hamilton ran for five touchdowns to lead Waskom to a thrilling 49-42 win over Tyler Grace Community on Friday.

Anyone who knows a thing about TAPPS Division II, District 2 will tell you it's one of the most exciting collection of teams in the state. A potent offense is just the standard. Elite defenses are at a premium.
