TYLER -- Waskom's losing skid hit two games Friday after accomplishing a 32-game winning streak from Week 2 of the 2014 season through Week 1 of the current season.

Tyler Grace Community did the disservice in a 52-20 win at Clyde-Perkins Stadium in Tyler.

Braydon Stone, who started in lieu of quarterback Christopher Wilhelmi, completed 9 of 18 passes for 183 yards and threw three touchdowns. Wilhelmi has not yet played this season due to an injury after starting as a junior.

Uchenna Uduma picked up 147 yards and four scores on the ground with just 15 carries.

Grace (2-1), which has only lost to Canton from Class 4A Division II and only by a point, built a 19-0 lead on Waskom (1-2).

The Wildcats cut its deficit down to 19-12 and then 25-20 early in the third quarter with two touchdown throws from Ty Carter and a short Carter run.

But Stone threw scoring passes of 39 and 25 yards to Parker Ary and Brady Newman for a 39-20 lead into the fourth quarter.

Uduma put Waskom away with 4 and 34-yard scores in the final period.

Grace will visit Malakoff next Friday. Waskom hosts Tyler Bishop Gorman.
