BRYAN -- Lufkin rebounded from its District 14-5A loss to The Woodlands with a dominating 47-7 win over Bryan on Friday night behind the arm of quarterback Tyler Stubblefield.

KILGORE -- State-ranked Kilgore made some mistakes in the first half of Friday’s District 16-3A home game with Gladewater, committing uncharacteristic turnovers.

Kade Clayton ran for three touchdowns and was one of six Tyler Grace Cougars to score touchdowns in a 61-0 shutout of crosstown and district rival Tyler T.K. Gorman on Friday night.

LONGVIEW -- The Hallsville Bobcats brought the chill to the Pine Tree Pirates tonight in both the weather and the game, dominating Pine Tree in a 38-0 victory at Pine Tree Stadium in game decided in the first half.

LONGVIEW -- Henderson's Patrick "Monster" Brown and Diamante Wright erased the memory of last week's loss as the duo combined for six touchdowns and 307 all-purpose yards to defeat Spring Hill, 42-14, Friday night at Panther Stadium.

JACKSONVILLE -- For the second straight year, the winner between Whitehouse and Jacksonville wasn't decided until the final play. And, just like last year -- and the last eight games -- Whitehouse won.

TYLER -- The Rockwall Yellowjackets used a powerful running game and a stingy defense to defeat the Tyler Lee Red Raiders, 40-0, in District 12-5A action at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium Friday night.
