ELKHART -- Elkhart got another big night from senior tailback Jeffery Wilson, but Teague proved too much in a 63-28 loss for the Elks on Friday night.

Wilson ran 33 times for 240 yards and three touchdowns in the loss, which dropped Elkhart to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in District 11-2A Division I. Teague improved to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in district.

Wilson, who holds offers from New Mexico State, North Texas, Texas State, and ULM, has 1,823 yards and 23 touchdowns. Combined with his 2,329 yards and 26 scores as a junior, he has rushed for 4,152 yards and 49 touchdowns in Elkhart's last 18 games.

Elkhart's Jordan Ives completed 3 of 9 passes for 37 yards and added 63 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.

Elkhart tries to bounce back Friday at Palestine Westwood (1-7, 0-3).
