NEW LONDON -- The Carlisle Lady Indians went 2-1 on the first day of the West Rusk Tournament on Thursday.

Carlisle (7-5) fell to Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill, 25-19, 24-26, 25-22, then earned wins over Henderson Full Armor (25-5, 25-18) and Waskom (25-23, 25-12).

In the loss to Chapel Hill, Jailin Kee registered 19 assists, while Haley Fears finished with 19 digs.

Heather Craig had seven kills against Full Armor, and 11 kills and five digs in the win over Waskom. Kee added 21 assists against Waskom.

Carlisle returns to action Friday at Henderson before returning to the West Rusk Tournament for bracket play Saturday.
