
Tray Walker Leads Pittsburg Past Paris North Lamar + Pirates Stay Unbeaten
PARIS -- Tray Walker rushed for a season-high 308 yards and two touchdowns, leading Pittsburg to a 49-28 win over Paris North Lamar on Friday night in the District 7-4A Division I opener for both teams.
Walker, who brought his season rushing total to 864 yards, scored on runs of 16 and 11 yards for Pittsburg (6-0, 1-0).
Quarterback Brian Baca also had a big night on the ground, rushing for 129 yards and four touchdowns, while passing for 65 yards. For the game, the Pirates rolled up 455 rushing yards as a team.
Each teams returns to action next Friday night. Pittsburg hosts Liberty-Eylau (5-1, 1-0), while North Lamar (4-2, 0-1) travels to Quinlan Ford.
