BULLARD -- Bullard gave its seniors something sweet to go out to on Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers, in their final home game of the season, defeated Gladewater, 66-39.

Senior Allie Kirgan finished with 12 points in the victory, while only other senior, Bailey Baker, had one. Sydney Foster (17) and Erin Berry (14) combined for 31 points, including seven 3-pointers.

Bullard awaits its first round playoff opponent, which has yet to be determined. The bi-district round begins Feb. 12.

Slocum boys fall to Laneville, 86-66

LANEVILLE -- Slocum couldn't get past Laneville, falling on the road, 86-66 on Tuesday.

Jacob Lane had 24 points, while Taylor Hunt finished with 22 for the Mustangs.

They fell to 16-14 this season. Their next matchup will come on Friday, when they face Trinidad at 7 p.m.

Winona girls rout Cumberland Academy

WINONA -- The Ladycats didn't let up.

Winona took hold of Cumberland Academy early in its way to a 78-23 victory on Tuesday.

Savannah Johnson finished with a triple-double for the Ladycats with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 steals.

Randaysha Hanson finished with a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Khayla Simmons added 19 points and five steals. Shrine McMiller was the main facilitator, with 10 assists and 16 points.

Winona now awaits the tournament bracket to be set to find out its next opponent.

Harmony boys take down Marshall Christian Academy

BIG SANDY -- Harmony won a close contest with Marshall Christian Academy, 59-53 on Tuesday.

Spencer Seahord led the Eagles with 14 points, while Easton Blackstone had 11.

Andrew Stokell had 21 for MCA. Harmony improved to 9-17 on the season. It will next face Cumberland Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Chapel Hill girls down Spring Hill

LONGVIEW -- The Chapel Hill Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 55-28 win over Spring Hill in District 16-3A action Tuesday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Karlea Duhon led Chapel Hill with 20 points, while Ty'Liyah Moore and Natalya Overshown added 15 and 12 points, respectively.

Spring Hill was led by Jayla Landrum, who had 14 points. Ashlee Blake added 12 points in the loss.

Chapel Hill will meet Tatum in the bi-district round of the playoffs next week.

Whitehouse boys remain unbeaten in district

CORSICANA -- The Whitehouse Wildcats stayed perfect in District 17-5A with a 56-50 win over Corsicana on Tuesday.

Jackson Mahomes and McKade Marquis led a balanced Whitehouse (23-6, 8-0) scoring effort with 12 points apiece. Kolby Jimmerson added 11 points in the win.

Whitehouse plays host to Nacogdoches on Friday.
