Harmony Pulls Away From Bells, 56-21
EMORY – The Harmony Eagles broke open a tight game with a dominant second half, cruising to a 56-21 win over Bells in their Class 3A Division II bi-district playoff Thursday night.
The Eagles (10-1), which scored 21 consecutive points in the third quarter to build a 42-14 lead, will play Daingerfield (7-3) at 2 p.m. next Friday from Pirate Stadium in Longview in the area round.
Harmony had three ball carriers eclipse the 100-yard mark, as Isaac Edwards, Brody Powledge, and Michael Everett helped the Eagles roll up more than 500 rushing yards on the night.
All three players ran for two touchdowns.
