Tuesday Volleyball: Bullard Remains Unbeaten in District + More

BULLARD -- The Bullard Lady Panthers remained unbeaten in District 16-4A with a 25-18, 25-18, 25-13 sweep of Henderson on Tuesday.

Sara McKeethan led Bullard (22-10, 7-0) with 16 kills, one block, an ace, and eight digs. Ashlyn Meador added seven kills, three blocks, and one ace, Kelli Richmond had five kills, an ace, and six digs, and Sara Lewinski finished with four kills, five blocks, and five digs.

Kylie McKeethan and Libby Eitel combined for 27 assists and nine digs as well.

Bullard is back in action Friday at Gilmer.

Quitman Rolls Past Lone Oak

QUITMAN -- The Quitman Lady Bulldogs cruised to a 25-9, 25-15, 25-19 sweep of Lone Oak in District 12-3A action Tuesday.

Madalyn Spears led Quitman (20-11, 6-1) with eight kills, an assist, one ace, and five digs. Maddy Whitehurst added six kills, two blocks, an ace, and four digs, Ava Burroughs had six kills, and Jentri Jackson finished with five kills, one block, an ace, and 10 digs.

Shelby Hayes added 24 assists, four kills, and three digs, while Lindsey Hornaday chipped in with four aces and 17 digs.

Quitman plays host to Grand Saline on Friday.

Beckville Has No Trouble With Shelbyville

SHELBYVILLE -- The Beckville Ladycats eased to a 25-5, 25-4, 25-7 sweep of Shelbyville on Tuesday in District 20-2A action.

Jordan Tondreau led Beckville (30-7, 7-0) with nine kills, one block, an assist, two aces, and a dig. Miranda Mize added eight kills, three blocks, one ace, and two digs, Payton Jones had seven kills, an ace, and eight digs, while Kinley Pepper finished with 25 assists, five aces, and six digs.

Beckville entertains Gary on Friday.
