CARTHAGE -- Waskom racked up more than 400 yards on the ground en route to a 57-28 win over Garrison in a Class 3A Division II regional semifinal on Friday night.

The Wildcats, now 9-4 on the season, will face unbeaten Newton at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the regional final at Abe Martin Stadium in Lufkin.

Waskom running back T.K. Hamilton led the Wildcats' offense yet again, putting up 114 yards and a touchdown on the ground while Jacob Reeves rushed for 75 yards and two scores on 10 carries. Bryan Holland and Tristan McDonald also reached the end zone for the Wildcats.

Drew Wise led Garrison (7-6) with 224 yards and three touchdowns through the air while being picked off three times on 11 of 24 passing. Jakeln Tutt ran for 52 yards and a score to lead the Bulldogs on the ground.

Waskom racked up four touchdowns, two by Reeves, and notched a safety to take a 30-7 lead at halftime.
