Friday Basketball: Bullard Girls Top Kilgore + More

BULLARD -- The Bullard Lady Panthers remained unbeaten in District 16-4A with a 58-41 win over Kilgore on Friday.

Haley Day led Bullard (25-6, 6-0) with 24 points, while Erin Berry added 12 points.

Bullard returns to action Tuesday at home against Henderson.

Chapel Hill Downs Kilgore

NEW CHAPEL HILL -- The Chapel Hill Lady Bulldogs evened their District 16-4A record with a 31-24 win over Henderson on Friday night.

Brittley Maddox led Chapel Hill (16-12, 3-3) with eight points, while Natalya Overshown added six points.

Resha Hall had 14 points for Henderson in the losing effort.

Chapel Hill's season resumes Tuesday at home against Gilmer.

Tatum Tops Elysian Fields

TATUM -- The Tatum Lady Eagles stayed unbeaten in District 15-3A with a 49-26 rout of Elysian Fields on Friday night.

Essence Allen paced Tatum (18-5, 7-0) with 23 points, five rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Radaisha Jones added 10 points, four rebounds, an assist, and two blocks.

Tatum's season resumes Tuesday at home against Ore City.
