CUMBY -- Alba-Golden put up 24 unanswered points Friday and cruised to a 36-6 victory against Cumby.

The Trojans had no answer for the Alba-Golden ground game. The Panthers called 42 running plays for 325 yards to just three passing attempts and one completed pass for 14 yards in the win.

Panthers senior running back Harrison Howell led the way with 112 yards on five carries. Dalton Wright wasn't far behind with 91 yards on 10 attempts.

Both players scored twice in the game.

Thomas Melton was the work horse. He carried the ball 16 times for 76 yards.

Gus Peacock had a solid game for the Panthers with seven total tackles, including two sacks and two tackles for loss.

The defense allowed just 215 yards all game.
