Canton Edges Tyler Grace Community, 42-41

CANTON -- Hunter Moore completed 21-of-40 passes for 317 yards and two touchdowns in Canton's thrilling 42-41 win Friday at Norris Birdwell Stadium.

The Eagles (2-0) also got 51 yards on 13 carries and another score from their senior quarterback.

Zach Moore made seven catches for 152 yards and caught one of Moore's touchdown passes.

Dylan Cox carried 15 times for 105 yards and two scores for the winning side.

Canton will visit Mabank next Friday. Grace (1-1) will simultaneously host defending Class 3A Division II state champion Waskom.
