Another East Texas player in the 2019 recruiting class made his college decision on Tuesday night.

Jacksonville defensive back Braelyn Riden announced via Twitter his commitment to Texas Southern.

The Indians' playmaker chose Texas Southern over another offer from Louisiana-Lafayette.

Riden (6-1, 170) enjoyed breakout success lsat season. He finished with six interceptions and five forced fumbles for Jacksonville, which reached the playoffs with a 6-5 record.

The Indians ultimately fell to eventual 5A Division II state champion College Station in the first round of the playoffs.

Texas Southern, located in Houston, is an FCS school and a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Tigers are coached by Michael Haywood and were 2-9 overall in 2017.

Riden, like all incoming seniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December.
