One day after a solid showing at the ETSN.fm + APEC Football Recruiting Combine, John Tyler 2015 cornerback Isaac Warren received two Division I FCS offers on Monday.

John Tyler coach Ricklan Holmes tweeted that Warren (6-1, 187) -- a Sam Houston State commit -- picked up invitations from both SFA and Liberty, which gives the Lions' big and physical DB six FCS offers.

Warren earned Defensive Back MVP honors at the ETSN + APEC combine on Sunday. He ran the fourth-fastest 40-yard dash out of the 19 DBs in attendance at 4.56, had the fourth-best vertical jump at 36.1 inches and was second in bench reps at 185 pounds with 12.

But where Warren excelled the most was on the field during the one-on-one portion of the combine. His physical style of play off the line of scrimmage thwarted receivers all afternoon, making it difficult for quarterbacks to find their man.

SFA competes in the Southland Conference and are coming off a tough 2013 season, which included a 3-9 overall record and 1-6 league finish.

Liberty, located in Lynchburg, Va., is a member of the Big South Conference and went 8-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play a season ago.

Warren will be a key component in 2014 for John Tyler, which returns a bevy of playmakers from last season's district runner-up and bi-district finalist. The Lions, who will face Plano, Longview and Tyler Lee in non-district, will compete in the new District 16-5A this fall along with Corsicana, Ennis, Jacksonville, Lindale, Lufkin, Nacogdoches and Whitehouse.
