GLADEWATER -- Jordan Turner scored twice and Pittsburg rallied from an early deficit to beat Gladewater, 28-21, on Friday night in a District 7-4A Division II matchup.

Gladewater took an early 13-0 lead and led 21-7 at halftime, but Turner scored two second-half touchdowns of 2 and 41 yards, the latter being the game winner, to give Pittsburg (6-3, 3-1) the win.

Pirates quarterback Jaylon Jimmerson, who threw for 95 yards and rushed for 35, added a 14-yard touchdown run during the second-half rally.

Turner finished the game with 122 yards on 19 carries.

Isaiah Davis was Gladewater's offensive firepower, rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries. His 18- and 4-yard touchdown runs gave Gladewater (2-7, 1-3) a 13-0 lead.

Jimmerson also threw a 47-yard touchdown pass to Keithlen Griffin in the second quarter, which was the Pirates' only score of the first half. Griffin finished with five catches for 72 yards in the win.
