GLADEWATER -- Lindale handed Gladewater its fourth loss of the season on Friday night, rallying from a 10-point first-half deficit to beat the Bears, 20-10.

Isaiah Davis took a 10-0 lead into halftime, thanks to a 20-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Badger to Braiden Vicckers and a 39-yard field goal from Fernando Serrano.

But Lindale responded in a big way in the second half, holding Gladewater to no points and two big touchdowns from quarterback Dillon Heinamen.

Heinamen hit Colton Brown for a 12-yard touchdown early in the third quarter, and after a 7-yard touchdown run by Jordan Robinson, Heinamen scored on a 1-yard touchdown run to put the game away.

Lindale (3-2) opens District 17-5A play Oct. 13 after taking next week off. Gladewater, now 1-4 on the season, is also off next week and faces Spring Hill on Oct. 13 to start District 7-4A Division II action.
