With the regular season winding down to the final two weeks, there are games all over the region with big-time playoff implications. And it's no different with the private schools.

Bullard Brook Hill travels to Tyler to take on the Grace Cougars on Friday night in the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Game of the Week with the winner strengthening their positioning for the TAPPS playoffs.

Brook Hill (4-4, 3-2 in TAPPS D-II, District 2), coming off a 35-13 loss to Dallas Parish Episcopal, is currently fourth in the league standings. Tyler Grace (7-1, 4-1) remains just one game behind district-leading Dallas Christian after the Cougars were awarded a win last week over Carrollton Prince of Peace, which was forced to cancel the remainder of its regular season because of small participation numbers.

The Guard is led by the trio of quarterback Grant Hanks, running back Gabe Lucio and receiver Seth Brasher. Hanks has passed for 1,420 yards and 14 touchdowns on the season, while Lucio leads the team with 721 rushing yards and five scores. Brasher has been Hanks' favorite target, hauling in 41 receptions for 615 yards and four touchdowns.

Tyler Grace has overcome the loss of do-everything senior Kade Clayton, who suffered a season-ending knee injury during the second week of the season. The Cougars are led by junior quarterback Chandler Nutt, who has accounted for 1,426 yards of offense and 22 touchdowns.
