As expected, Wednesday's National Signing Day was a busy time in East Texas.

Here's a list by school of signees from across the region from Wednesday's National Signing Day events.

WHITEHOUSE -- Whitehouse senior Patrick Mahomes still has some big decisions to make, but for now, he's a Texas Tech Red Raider.

LONGVIEW -- John King has made sending football players to college commonplace at Longview, which had six more players in the 2014 class seal their college football destinations during Wednesday's National Signing Day ceremony at Longview High School's turf room.

NEW CHAPEL HILL -- It was late September and Chapel Hill senior Joseph Clark was doing what he loved, what he was born to do: playing out his final year of high school football with bigger and better things on the horizon.

CARTHAGE -- One of the most established senior football groups and arguably the best volleyball player in school history signed national letters of intent Wednesday at Carthage's National Signing Day ceremony.

Palestine sent four football players to collegiate ranks as Oklahoma State-bound Jarrell Owens headlined the talented foursome that signed their national letters of intent on Wednesday morning.
