2015 Girls Soccer Playoffs

TYLER -- Hannah Brantley doesn't have much left to prove at Texas High as the top goal scorer in school history and as a standout golfer. But she keeps delivering. Brantley recorded three assists and a goal in the Lady Tigers' 4-0 Class 5A bi-district soccer playoff round win against John Tyler at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.

TYLER -- The Lufkin Lady Panthers sailed into the soccer playoffs on the heels of an undefeated run through District 16-5A. But Thursday's bi-district counterpart Pine Tree, the fourth seed from 15-5A, was not going to lay down. Despite carrying a much quicker offensive attack, Lufkin had to scratch and claw to run its winning streak to 13 matches with a 2-1 first-round postseason victory at Trini

WHITEHOUSE -- Tatum's boys were not a happy group in the first minutes after a 1-0 loss to Mabank in the Class 4A bi-district playoff round. The Eagles played the Panthers tight for 66 full minutes at Whitehouse's Wildcat Stadium, but freshman midfielder Jacob Gonzales got the winning touch in high traffic and volleyed a bouncing ball into the goal's top right corner with 13:18 remaining.  Read Mo
