TYLER -- Tyler Grace Community leapt into a tie for second place in TAPPS Division II, District II with a 56-0 win against Tyler All Saints at Clyde-Perkins Stadium.

Quarterback Christopher Wilhelmi completed 13 of 17 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense in meaningful time. The Cougars owned a 35-0 lead at halftime thanks in part to his strikes.

Garrett Tauscher returned the second half kickoff 85 yards to convince Grace (5-3, 2-1) to begin rotating the backups into the game.

Starting sophomore running back Uchenna Uduma led Grace on the ground with 94 yards and a touchdown on just six carries and Parker Ary was the team's leading receiver with 83 yards and a score.

Griffin Kuykendall recorded his fifth interception of the season.

The win pushed the Cougars into a three-team second place tie alongside Bullard Brook Hill and Tyler Bishop Gorman in the district standings. Each team has a 2-1 league record.

Dallas Christian, in first place, has a two-game lead against the other top three teams.

All Saints (2-6, 0-4) fell into last place in the eight-team district.

Grace will travel to Carrollton Prince of Peace next week. All Saints will enjoy its open date before facing Prince of Peace on Oct. 28.
