Van kept its undefeated record in tact Friday, defeating Brownsboro 49-35.

Garrett Moseley had three touchdowns, two rushing and one passing, in the victory. The Vandals led 28-21 at the half.

Saul Williams and Woods both galloped for fourth-quarter touchdowns. Williams converted a two-pointer to pull Brownsboro within 42-35 with six minutes on the clock in the fourth quarter.

Unfortunately, they couldn't overcome. It was the last time they scored.

Van, ranked No. 9 in the state, improves to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in district play, while the Bears fall to 4-2 and 1-1.

Van will face Mabank at 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
