It's that time of the year.

With many teams' seasons over in both high school and college, it is prime recruiting season. Many players are receiving their first offers and that includes West Rusk defensive end Darius Richardson.

Richardson, a junior for the Raiders, posted on Twitter late Tuesday that he received his first college offer.

Richardson finished 2017 with 68 tackles, including 11 for loss. He also had a sack and forced two fumbles.

Texas State competes in the Sun Belt Conference of the NCAA FBS subdivision. The Bobcats finished with a 2-10 record this season.

Richardson, like all juniors, is eligible to sign with any team that offers him in December 2018.
