NEW CHAPEL HILL -- Three Chapel Hill players rushed for more than 100 yards and the Bulldogs amassed 538 yards rushing in a 56-37 win over Lindale on Friday night at Bulldog Stadium.

Chapel Hill (1-0) maintained a close lead over the Eagles, including a 21-17 lead at halftime, but the Bulldogs erupted for 21 unanswered in the third quarter to pull away.

Jesse Mumphrey rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns for Chapel Hill, while Wesley Thompson (66 yards) and Joseph Clark (41 yards) contributed long touchdown runs in the win.
