The 'Lake Tyler Rivalry' has heated up the past several years since Chapel Hill and Whitehouse renewed their long-standing tradition of playing each other. This year, with Whitehouse coming off a solid opening win over Hallsville and Chapel Hill suffering its first loss since Dec. 2010, is no different between these two teams.

For the second straight week, Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler will play host to the ETSN.fm Dairy Queen Game of the Week. Chapel Hill (0-1) and Whitehouse (1-0), which played in a historic shootout in this matchup last year, meet again at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The game will be featured by ETSN.fm and KLTV 7 in Tyler all week, and we'll be live from the game during the 6 p.m. newscast and the 11 p.m. Red Zone postgame show Friday night. You can watch a live stream of the news and show here on ETSN.fm or on KLTV.com.

This year's teams are extremely different from the two that combined for 118 points and more than 1,100 yards in the 2011 matchup. Both teams return some playmakers, but the core of both teams is different.

Lindale's 31-14 win over Chapel Hill last Friday was the Bulldogs' first loss since the 2010 Class 3A Division I state championship game.

Whitehouse opened its 2012 season with a convincing 35-18 win over Hallsville, highlighted by junior Patrick Mahomes' three touchdown passes.

So, who takes it?
