NEW CHAPEL HILL -- The Lady Bulldogs needed each of their 49 points to earn the victory on Friday night.

Chapel Hill defeated Brownsboro 49-48 in a tight game at home. That advanced it to the finals of the E.L. Kirk Tournament.

Ty'Liyah Moore and Karla Duhon each finished with 15 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Shelbee Denson was next with eight points.

Chapel Hill will next face Sunnyvale in the finals of the tournament.

Canton Girls Sweep Friday

WINNSBORO-- After first disposing of Gilmer, 42-28, Canton took down Georgetown East View, 31-13 on Friday to sweep the day at the Winnsboro Hoopfest.

Kendall Nilius led the team with 13 in the first game, while Ashley Wood had 12. In the second game, Wood led the way with 10.

Canton improved to 8-2 with the wins and will face Winnsboro in the final game on Saturday.

Bullard Girls Split Pair of Games

BULLARD-- Bullard destroyed Jacksonville, 49-22 on Friday before falling to Sunnyvale 39-30 in the E.L. Kirk Tournament.

Sydney Foster led the team on the day, with 30 total points, including 20 in the game agasint Jacksonville.

Bullard is 12-2 on the season and will face Alba-Golden next on Dec. 5.
