Jackson also holds offer from schools such as Texas, Texas A&M and Arkansas. He finished with 15 tackles for loss and six sacks in 2018 despite missing the entirety of the playoffs with injury. He is the first member of East Texas' 2021 class with double digit offers.

Oklahoma State finished 7-6 in 2018, defeating Missouri, 38-33 in the Liberty Bowl to finish its season.

Jackson, like all sophomores, is first eligible to sign with any school that offers him beginning in December 2020.
