ATLANTA -- Just call it a Sweet 16 for the Gilmer Buckeyes.

Gilmer clinched a postseason berth for the 16th consecutive season on Friday night, riding five touchdown passes from Aaron "Poppy" Brown in a 47-28 win over Atlanta.

The win gave the Buckeyes (9-1, 4-0) at least a share of the District 7-4A Division II title, while Atlanta fell to 5-4 overall and 1-3 in district.

Nick Cooper and Leighton Henson each scored on 1-yard touchdown runs to give Atlanta an early 14-7 lead, but Gilmer had too much Brown.

The Buckeyes' signal-caller connected with five different teammates for passing touchdowns in the win, including a 41-yard score to Red Jones to give Gilmer the lead for good.

Dimitri Fort, LaMarcus Morton, Rashaad Ward and Qua Heath all recorded touchdown catches for Gilmer, while Ward also scored on the ground.
