Atlanta Reaches Regional Semifinals With 42-21 Defeat of Kemp

TYLER — Andrew Samples passed for three touchdowns and caught another in Atlanta’s 42-21 win over Kemp in their Class 3A Division I area playoff Friday at Christus TMF Rose Stadium.

Samples threw for 196 yards on the day, and added 103 yards on the ground.

The Rabbits (7-5) will face district mate Mount Vernon (8-3) in a Region II semifinal next week. Atlanta won the regular-season meeting, 41-22, on Oct. 19.
