Gladewater Powers Past Center, 56-15

GLADEWATER -- The Gladewater Bears' ground attack was too much for Center, as they earned a 56-15 rout on Friday night at Jack V. Murphy Bear Stadium.

Senior Darnell McKnight and junior Isaiah Davis each eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for Gladewater (2-0).

Davis led the way with 132 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, while McKnight ran for 123 yards and a score on 17 attempts.

Rashad Johnson, Ray Alvarez, and Christian Holmes also combined to rush for more than 100 yards and a touchdown for the Bears.

Center (1-2) was led by quarterback Kyle Parks, who passed for 293 yards.

Gladewater hosts Chapel Hill, while Center plays host to Diboll next Friday night.
