Eligia Carter + Gladewater Rout Center, Improve to 3-0

GLADEWATER -- Eligia Carter ran for 252 yards and two touchdowns, helping Gladewater remain unbeaten with a 46-22 win over Center, Friday night at Jack V. Murphy Bear Stadium.

Gladewater (3-0) also got a couple of touchdown passes from Tristan Holmes, who threw for 182 yards, 100 of which went to T.C. Minter, who had both touchdown receptions.

Center (1-2) was led by quarterback Jayden Hicks, who threw for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Both teams are back in action next Friday night. Center plays host to Henderson (1-2), while Gladewater plays at defending Class 4A Division II state champion Pleasant Grove (3-0).
